About MeHi, I'm Thakeni Marston-Brown, an HCPC-registered Dietitian with extensive NHS experience helping adults improve their health through practical, evidence-based nutrition.Alongside my freelance practice, I work as a Specialist Dietitian and Professional Lead within an NHS Post-COVID Assessment Service.My clinical interests include Long COVID, heart health, diabetes, weight management and digestive health (including IBS and the low FODMAP diet). Together we'll develop a personalised nutrition plan that's realistic and tailored to you. You'll also receive a written summary with key recommendations.Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book directly without a referral.Will you contact my GP?

Effective Date: July 2026These Terms & Conditions apply to all consultations provided by Thakeni Marston-Brown Dietitian. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.1. Eligibility
Consultations are available to adults aged 18 years and over.
My services are provided remotely via secure video consultation or telephone. Please ensure you are in a private environment with a reliable internet connection or telephone signal for your appointment.2. Scope of Service
I provide evidence-based nutrition assessment, education and personalised dietary advice tailored to your individual needs. My services are intended to support your health and wellbeing but do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency healthcare. I do not prescribe medication or alter prescribed treatment plans. Any recommendations regarding medication should be discussed with your GP or other appropriate healthcare professional. If your needs fall outside my area of professional competence, I may recommend referral to another suitably qualified healthcare professional.3. Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked online using my booking system. Once your appointment has been booked, you will receive confirmation by email together with any relevant information regarding your consultation. Consultations are provided remotely via Microsoft Teams or telephone. Please ensure you have access to Microsoft Teams (if applicable), a reliable internet connection and a private, quiet environment for your appointment.4. Fees and Payment
Consultation fees are published on my website. Payment instructions will be provided following booking.
Payment must be received before your appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance. Failure to make payment may result in your appointment being cancelled.5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full. If exceptional circumstances arise, please contact me as soon as possible and each situation will be considered individually.6. Late Attendance
If you arrive late for your appointment, I will make every effort to continue your consultation where possible. However, your appointment will still finish at the scheduled time to avoid delaying subsequent appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rearranged and cancellation charges may apply.7. Missed Appointments
If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, the full consultation fee may be charged.8. Communication
Routine communication will normally take place by email. Brief administrative queries regarding appointments are welcome. Clinical advice outside scheduled consultations may require an additional appointment.9. Confidentiality
Your personal information and clinical records will be treated confidentially and managed in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
Information will only be shared:
with your consent;
where required by law; or
where there is a professional duty to protect you or another person from serious harm. Please refer to my Privacy Notice for further information.10. Your Responsibilities
To help me provide safe and effective care, you agree to:
Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your health.
Inform me of any changes to your medical condition or medication.

Online consultations rely on technology. If technical difficulties occur, every reasonable effort will be made to continue the consultation by reconnecting or, where appropriate, by telephone.13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me in the first instance so I have the opportunity to resolve your concerns promptly and fairly.14. Changes to These Terms

Clinical records are retained in accordance with UK healthcare record retention guidance and professional requirements. Adult records are normally retained for a minimum of eight years after your last appointment unless a longer retention period is required by law.
